WEBGL IS CAME - MEGA JELLY FISH - 3D

Browser 's new wonderful feature is called 'webgl'. What is webgl?  WebGL (Web Graphics Library) is an in development standard specification defining a JavaScript API for writing web applications utilizing hardware accelerated 3D graphics. Webgl is a new feature will give '3D' effect without installing any software. It will give more enjoyment to user. So hereafter we will get  3D feature without putting glass. Now this 'webgl' feature available in FIREFOX 4 BETA AND GOOGLE CHROME 10. This feature available in some other browser also. Now Browsers which supports webgl, will get new  place to users.  HOW TO SEE THE 3D EFFECT  USING WEBGL ELEMENT?

Now we will see one 3D picture using webgl. I tested using Chrome only. It works properly try it and enjoy. So you can understand the 3D / webgl  concept. Before we do this, check the conditions below.

• Your net connection must be speed else it will take more time and you need to wait till load.
• Your must use latest configuration of your pc.
• Try in chrome browser only, don't use any other browser.
• Chrome browser version must be 10.0.648.45 . ( I checked in this version)
• In chrome browser, use the version mentioned above and don't use  lower or higher version.
• Use this version only for future 3D post.( At that time, i remember you )
• In higher version also not display properly. So use the version mentioned above.
• Download the chrome 10.0.648.45 . version by clicking here

If you not meet the above version, update it by clicking 'About Google Chrome' option in the menu. After you clicked this button, chrome browser will check the latest version and automatically will install. Then see the version.

GOOGLE LABS - 4 - CREATE A DOCUMENT

Create a document is one useful feature in gmail labs. Already we saw some important features in google labs. Now i explain about create a document lab feature. If you enable it, it will appear in right side of gmail. It contains 'new window', ' print all','create a document' basically. If you open any conversation mail means it have 'expand all' and ' forward all'. If your mail have an text with highlight means one more option will come called 'turn off highlight'. Surely it will helpful to you if you enable it. 

You can edit that mail before you print or make a document. Consider you need to take one Tamil or any other language ( except english ) document means you need to print out and you don't have printer means ? Simply create a document in 'PDF' format and printout in shop. 

To make a document, open a mail which you like to make a document and click 'create a document'. Now it will appear in editable form so you can edit it. After making changes, click 'file', choose 'download as' and choose file format which you want. Better to choose 'PDF'.

When you use this lab feature, ad's are come and simply sit in right side. See the picture. If you like this ad's means simply leave it. If you like to remove this ad's means use 'better gmail' add on. It will remove these ad's completely. Already we saw about this add on.  You will get new enjoyment if you use this add on. How to enable this create a document lab feature? Login to your gmail account. Click 'settings' at top right side corner. Now click the 'labs' tab. Find ' create a document'. Choose 'enable' by clicking radio button. Finally click 'save changes'. 

If you open conversation mail means you can expand in single click and similarly you can turn off highlight if your mail have highlight.

AUTO REPLY IN GMAIL - VOCATION RESPONDER

Auto reply is useful feature in gmail and it will helpful at critical situation. Sometimes we will go tour. At that time unable to login our gmail account and we will get lot of mails. Sometimes we will get some important mail, that mail need reply from ours urgently. At that time we can set automatically  reply so sender  by putting default message ' Now i am in tour, So unable to read your message. This is auto reply message . If any urgent message or mail means call to this no xxxxxxxxxx' like that.


Like this you can set message reason to unable read the mails. After you set this feature, if sender send mail to your email address means, sender get this message automatically and they know receiver not read our mail and they try to inform to you if any urgent. This is an wonderful and more helpful feature in gmail.  You can set only to your contact member by avoiding newsletters. Mail which send to spam are not get automatic reply. This is very easy to set. Set this feature when you unable to login your gmail account for long  period. Generally this feature is disabled.We can enable as our wish.  

HOW TO SET AUTO REPLY?

First login to your gmail account. Click 'settings' in top right corner. Gmail automatically open 'general' tab. Scroll down and find 'out of office Auto reply'. Then select radio button ' out of office auto reply on'. Set the starting day and end day is optional (We don't know accurately when we login our gmail account again). Give Meaningful subject in subject line. Then type your message. If you like to set auto reply only to your contact means 'tick' the check box below 'only send a response to people in my contacts'. Then finally click 'save changes'.

COMPUTER DOCTOR - 6 - ERROR REPORT

Today we will see how to disable error reporting in windows xp. Nowadays we will install and uninstall lot of software in our system. Some software make problem and affect our system if it not suitable with hardware. Sometime our system will get crash. If we close any software voluntarily continuously , even it doesn't close, error report will display. While closing the software when system is busy, at the time also error report will apper. Error report contain some error code, detail description about that error and ask you send this error report to microsoft or not. Some times it irritating to ours, by displaying again and again. We can able to disbale it. How to stop it? Right click on My computer in Desktop. Click ‘Properties’. Click the tab ‘Advanced’. At the bottom, you can able to see the button called ‘Error Reporting’. Click it. Now one more dialog box will apper. Now choose ‘Disable Error Reporting’. Tick the Check box, ‘But notifiy me, when critical errors occur’ if you need this option.


While generating error code, we don't know what its meaning. To solve this problem below websites will helpful to you. Just enter your error code or message. Now you will get error code meaning.

GIVE PICTURE TO FOLDER

I think surely this post will help to you. Consider you have folder that contains lot of movie songs. To identify easily to particular movie songs, this post will use to you. See the picture below I provided. Here every movie songs folder have wallpaper based on that movie. So easy to find the movie here. Like this setting? Follow the steps below I provided.

Right click the folder which you like to give ‘poster’. Then click ‘Properties’. Now select ‘Customize ‘ tab. Click ‘Choose picture’. Then select the picture from your computer. Finally click ‘Ok’. For help see the picture below.  For example, I choose  ‘baba’ Movie. So I downloaded a still based on that movie in net. Then put that wallpaper as poster.  Like this you  can provided to every folder. It take long time to do every folder. So do this when you have time.  You can put this poster to your movie collections  etc.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  You must set the view ‘Thumbnails’ in view type. For help see  the picture.  Right click on empty space. Choose ‘view’. Then select ‘Thumbnails’. Make your friends to wonder.

GOOGLE LABS - 3 - MOUSE GESTURES

Mouse gesture is one of the feauture present in Google Labs. Already we saw  some features in google labs. Today we see about Mouse  gestures. Generally we will see problem explained below in Gmail account. If any queries / doubts use feedback form provided at end of this page.

Problem 1: Consider your gmail account list 50 mails, if you like to go next 50 list means, you need to press ‘older’ like that ‘oldest’ to see next 50 mails. Like that ‘newer’ and ‘newest’ to see previous mail. 

Problem 2: Now you opened one mail to read and you like to read next mail means, you need to press ‘Back to inbox’ button , then you need to select next mail to open.

To solve above problems, mouse guestures will helpful. We can move to Next 50 mail list without clicking ‘older’ or ‘oldest’. We can read next mail with out clicking ‘back to inbox’. We can done this by holding mouse button.

I explained below how to use mouse guestures in picture briefly. See that picture how to create mouse guestures. Before read this, you need to enable ‘mouse guesture’ in gmail account.

How to enable mouse guesture?

Log into your gmail account. Click Settings , present at Right top corner. Click the tab ‘Labs’. Now search the Mouse gesture and choose enable. Finally click the button ‘Save Changes’.

Gmail Lab Feature Mouse gesture is developed by Eric A & I’m sorry to say that Google has retired this feature saying the app is less popular & you will no longer be able to access Mouse Gesture’s.Google also had said good bye to other Lab Feature’s like Old Snakey, Mail Goggles, Hide Unread Counts, Move Icon Column, Inbox Preview, Custom Date Formats & SMS in Chat gadget.
